Student Ministries

The mission of First Church Student Ministries is to help all 6th-12th grade students One Gospel, to the City, for All Nations.

First Church Student Ministries is committed to equip all 6th-12th grade students to grow in their faith, be grounded in God’s word, and discipled to live with a purpose. We achieve this through worship, prayer and teaching that is easy to understand. If you have questions about God, or sometimes doubt or battle your own struggles, this is a place for you.

Sunday AM Groups

Sunday Mornings: Middle School & High School at 9 AM

On Sunday mornings, we spend time connecting with one another and God’s Word. During this time 6th-12th grade students will have their hearts prepared for the upcoming worship service through group discussions and teaching.

Sunday PM Groups

Sunday Evenings at First Church of God: 6pm-7:30pm

In our Sunday evening gatherings, we provide a mix of games, worship, teaching, and small group discussions for both middle school and high school students. We create sermon series and teachings that meet students where they are, helping them grow into the people God created them to be through the truth of His Word and the work of Jesus.

Bible Quizzing

Meets at specific times through the year

Our Bible quizzing team is a great ministry of First Church that challenges our students to not only memorize Scripture but learn what it means to truly hide God's Word in our hearts.

Serve

Students have the opportunity to:

  • Serve the church through the Vibe team, Worship Team, Children's Ministry, and Facilities Team.
  • Invite friends to Sunday PM.
  • Serve outside the church in Whitley County and beyond.
  • Serve through our Student Serve Team.
